What is Amanah?+
Amanah is a private vault for the people you love. You prepare letters, files, instructions, and wishes, choose who receives them, and Amanah delivers them only if the time truly comes — confirmed through gentle, ongoing check-ins.
Is this a will or a legal document?+
No. Amanah is not a legal will or inheritance instrument. It makes sure your words, files, and instructions actually reach your people — but for binding legal matters you should speak with a qualified advisor. Amanah works alongside that.
How does Amanah know when to release a vault?+
Amanah checks in with you on your schedule. One tap confirms you're okay. If you miss a check-in, Amanah reminds you again across email and WhatsApp, then waits out a grace period. Only after all of that passes does a vault release.
What if I miss a check-in by accident?+
Nothing happens straight away. You'll get more than one reminder, on more than one channel, with a grace period before anything is ever released — and a single tap resets it all. The system is built so an accidental miss can't trigger a release.
Who can see what I store?+
Only you can see your vaults. Each recipient receives only what you addressed to them — never the whole vault, and never anyone else's. We never sell or share your data.
What can I put in a vault?+
Letters and notes, photos, audio and video, PDFs and documents, and where to find important paperwork — kept together and addressed to the people you choose.
Could a vault be sent empty, twice, or by mistake?+
No. An Amanah is delivered once, deliberately. A vault can't go live or release while it's empty, it can't be released twice, and once it's delivered it's sealed — so your family never receives an empty vault, a duplicate, or an accidental send.
How do my recipients receive what I leave?+
Each recipient gets a private, secure link by email or WhatsApp. They don't need an account, and the link never expires — so they can open what you left at their own pace.
Can I change or remove things later?+
Yes — everything is yours. You can add, edit, or delete contents, recipients, and release rules at any time, and pause or disable a vault whenever you like.
Is my data always mine to take with me?+
Always. Everything you store is yours — you can export all of it, in full, at any time, and we give clear, advance notice before anything that affects how your vault works. Transparency is our foundation; see the Trust & security page for the principles we hold ourselves to.
